even if the courier does not. If there is a problem with a snake that you have received from us please
contact us within 24 hours of receipt. Snakes will only be shipped as weather permits and temps are
above 40F and under 90F.
Outside of these temps the health of the snake can be compromised during transit. In cases where the
customer demands a shipping date when temperatures are outside of these guidelines, customer will
take full responsibility. We only ship Monday, Tuesday and Wednesdays for the snakes best interest in
transit time.
Box Charge - There is no box charge for any of our shipments. Heat & Cold packs are used when
necessary and are free of charge.
Prices - All prices include shipping & handling via Fed Ex Next Day Air to your door. Quantity
discounts are available when possible.
Payment - Payment in full is necessary before the snake will be shipped. We accept the following
methods of payment: cashiers check, money order, and PayPal via the account
gerry@ssscales.com. We accept Visa, Master Card and Discover Card via PayPal as well. Please
email us for mailing address if paying by check or money order.
Reservations - Reservations are made on a "first come first served" basis. To secure your purchase
we must receive a 20% deposit on the price of the snake. Receipt of this deposit insures your
reservation and your commitment to purchase the snake. If for any reason we are not able to produce
the snake to fill your order, we will notify you and refund your deposit.
Lay away options - A 20% down payment is required to hold or lay away any snake. This 20% deposit
is non-refundable and is required to remove the snake off the market and delete any advertisement we
may have running.
Lay away terms:
This is done by paying a deposit of 20% down, the care card for the animal is marked with your name.
We will then continue to care for your snake until it is paid in full. You can send whatever amount that
you can afford every month, but the monthly amount should be agreed upon in advance of setting up
the payment plan. When the account is paid in full, we will ship the snake.
If after the maximum period set, final payment is not made, we reserve the right to refund any monies
paid over and above the initial down payment amount, and to place the snake back for sale.
Guarantee - All snakes are guaranteed to be healthy, feeding and properly sexed. Live arrival is
guaranteed. Our snakes are backed with a 7 day guarantee from the time of receipt, please feel free
to use this time to have the snake checked by your local vet. If you are not satisfied 100% please notify
us within 24hrs of receiving your snake. We will gladly either replace it with an equal value snake or
refund your payment upon return of the original. All packages must be signed for by the customer or
our guarantee is null and void.
Leopard Geckos as snakes will be honestly represented, healthy, feeding, and correctly sexed, unless
otherwise agreed upon. If you are dissatisfied with your order for any reason, please contact us
immediately upon receipt of your shipment and we will gladly replace the animal or refund your money.
Leopard Geckos under 6MO of age are temp sexed. Meaning females are incubated at 80-82F and
males at 88-89F.
